John C. Walsh is a social historian of 19th-century and 20th-century Canada, with research interests in governmentality, space/place, memory, and the teaching and learning of history. He is also a hopelessly proud father of three who, between mid October and the end of June especially, is deeply concerned with the progress of the Boston Celtics.
